Singleton Lake
The boulders at Singleton Lake were Anthony Gormley’s first remunerated commission. They were removed by Kent County Council, restored and placed outside County Hall. Singleton Lake now has two modest-sized blocks of greensand instead. Unfortunately life has been made hard for swans on the lake and there hasn’t been a nesting pair beyond about 2015.
